Hello everyone!
Just checking in to say that things are still going very well here in Mexico. We are turning the corner on our third week of the first session, so projects are in abundance. I'm still finding time to exercise, hike, take a siesta or two and enjoy celebrating birthdays with friends and new family.
My TPR/TPRS (Total Physical Response/Teaching Proficiency Through Reading and Storytelling) class is extremely thought-provoking and inspirational. Again, my philosophy of teaching Spanish as a second language is being refined and evolutionized! It is an exciting opportunity for me.
Being here a second year has proven to me that continuing your education in an area that you have a passion for is ideal. The insights I've gained here and the friendships I am making will change the course of my life - personally and professionally. I'm truly blessed in so many ways!
Gili & Calvin are getting over being sick. First it was Calvin and now Gili has it! Gili's mom has been over to help out and I'm grateful to have family that supports me in my pursuit to improve myself and my Spanish.
